This woman is an absolute god send. My two dogs love her and see her 4 days a week for walks, which is the perfect as I work full time and didn't know what I was going to do when I started a new job.

I don't trust many people with my babies but I know they're in excellent hands when they're with Claire. She goes above and beyond what she needs to and will always be as flexible as possible and is a true professional.
I can't recommend her enough!

We had never used a dog boarder / sitter before, or hadn't even left Eric our Puggle with anyone before, but as soon as we met Claire and her husband I knew we had made the right choice in them for Eric.

They welcomed Eric into their warm and wonderful home with such caring and loving arms, provided a safe and secure home from home for him and gave him the cuddles and tickles he's become so accustomed to :-)

I cannot recommend Claire highly enough and we cannot thank her enough for looking after Eric in such a caring and professional way - allowing us to relax and enjoy our holiday.

Eric loved the company and playmates too and I think he has the holiday blues today too! :-)

“Wonderful dog sitter/minder"

Our dog, Pepsi, has really bad separation issues and so can't be left on her own. We have tried dog sitters before and they haven't worked out - with the last ones she came out panicking worse than if she'd been left home alone. I explained this to Claire and instead of the usual "oh she'll be fine" Claire came up with a strategy to ease Pepsi into staying half a day with her over a few weeks. Pepsi was still reluctant at first but it's now a couple of months on and instead of sitting in the car shaking and refusing to get out, she leaps out of the car and runs to Claire's door.

Claire also gave us some good advice about what to do (how to act) when leaving her and picking her up and it's worked wonders. The vicious cycle of Pepsi getting worried/scared making us feel anxious about leaving her and her picking up on this, and that making her worse has ended.

It's clear that she really likes Claire - she will walk away from most people if they bend down for a fuss, but Claire gets a kiss!

I am over the moon to have found somewhere I can take Pepsi when we can't take her where we are going (out cycling usually) . She always gets a good walk out with Claire's lovely dogs, Dillon and Tai, and comes home ready for a good sleep.

Claire looked after my 2 dogs while I was away for the weekend. I was very happy with the professional and friendly service. I came home to 2 very happy and settled dogs. I would definitely use the service again and would recommend to others.

The Crazy Dog Lady Teesside's page.  Claire is a responsible and loving dog owner herself and knows exactly how to put new doggy friends at ease.  She looked after our dog, Lenny, when we got married, taking him to and from Gretna Green so that he could be part of our special day and looking after him on the morning and evening, too.  It meant the world to us to know he was in safe hands.  She also offers a fabulous dog walking service. Len met up with her for a few long walks/ runs before their road trip to Scotland and he always came back happy. “Home from home”

Max and Meg have stayed overnight with Claire twice now.  They love going and always have a jolly home from home experience.  They have lots of walks and home comforts, including lying on the settee and sleeping upstairs!!!  Claire has a real understanding of dogs and more than meets all their needs.  I know that I don't worry about them when I am away, and I will always send Max and Meg to Claire if I am going away.  I would not hesitate to recommend Claire, as the Crazy Dog Lady from Teesside.  Your dog will have the best time, and you can have a great time knowing that your dogs are receiving the best care and love whilst you are away.
